Our operations date back to the year 1922 when we were first established as a partnership firm and subsequently incorporated as a Private Limited company in the year 1977. We have been active in the business of Indian food products for over 80 years.

We deal with goods originating from all over the globe, maintaining a ready stock of items in Singapore to cater to the local market as well as to facilitate prompt shipments abroad.

The managing director of EAB (Mr Wasim Abdul Majeed) was a member of the board of directors of sicci during 2002-2004 and was awarded shield by sicci in appreciation of his dedication and support to the chamber.

EAB is a member of Singapore Indian chamber of commerce and industry (sicci) since 1937. The sicci presented a shield to EAB in the year 2012 in recognition for long and continued membership of sicci since 1937.

To be the most reliable & cost effective source of supply of spices, pulses, grains, beans, dry fruits & nuts etc..

Esmail & Ahmed Brothers (1922) Pte Ltd (EAB) is located at main commercial hub in Singapore at Hong Kong Street in our own 4 storey building with 6000 SQFT covered area. This building is vacated to make room for a new 6 storey building.

EAB is now located in a 10000 SQFT covered area four storey building in Henderson industrial park, Singapore. This space is also owned by EAB.

EAB deals in export and local trading in the following :

Spices : Black Pepper, White Pepper, Cloves, Cardamom, Cassia, Caraway Seeds, Cumin Seeds, Fennel Seeds, Turmeric, Fenugreek Seeds, Coriander Seeds, Mace, Nutmegs, Dry Ginger, Star Ani Seeds etc…
Pulses : Black Matpe, Green Mung Beans, Red Lentils, Pigeon Peas, Toor Dal, Chana Dal, Moong Dal,  etc ..
Grains : Basmati Rice, White Rice & Parboiled Ponni Rice
Beans : Lab Lab Beans (Motchai), Kidney Beans, Black Eye Beans, White Beans etc..
Dried fruits & Nuts : Almonds, Raisins, Pistachios, Dried Apricots, Dried Figs,
 

EAB major turn over is bulk export orders and third party shipments which comprises about 90 % for the year 2012 out of total turn over of s$ 32 million.

Esmail & Ahmed Brothers (1922) Pte Ltd is one of the major sme dealer and exporters of spices, pulses and commodities.

Our major export markets are India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal, China, Vietnam, Dubai, Sri Lanka and Malaysia.

EAB has established & developed century old relationships with reliable suppliers around the globe for items such as Spices, Pulses, Grains, Beans, Dried Fruits & nuts etc ..
